What is AODA?
The American Overseas Dietetic Association (AODA) is the international affiliate of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (the Academy) based in the United States. AODA serves to connect nutrition and dietetic professionals worldwide who are members of the Academy. Members gain access to a listserv, monthly updates, and quarterly newsletters as well as many in-person opportunities to connect at international conferences pertaining to the field of nutrition and dietetics.
How do I join AODA?
To be a member of AODA you first need to be a member of the Academy. For more details, please see our “How to Join” page.
How do I join the AODA listserv?
Only members and supporters of AODA have access to our listserv. If you are a member or supporter, simply send an email with your full name and Academy ID to firstname.lastname@example.org to gain access. If you are having difficulty, please email email@example.com.
What is an AODA Supporter?
An AODA supporter is anyone who either is not eligible for Academy membership, but would like to be involved with AODA, or is an Academy member and would like to be involved with AODA, but would like to maintain a different state affiliate.
